Why Cottonwood
Sedona for the day. Cottonwood for the night.
Sedona is the reason most people come to Northern Arizona, and it deserves the trip.
It's also the busiest part of the valley — traffic through town backs up, and the
popular trailhead lots fill early.
Twenty minutes down 89A, staying here generally costs less than the equivalent in
Sedona, and the crowds become something you drive into in the morning and leave behind
in the evening. You're also closer to the wineries and to Jerome than you would be from
Sedona.
